Straumann Compatible

Straumann® Compatible Abutments & Parts

Titan Implants manufactures a full line of Straumann compatible prosthetic components at our CNC facility in Bergenfield, New Jersey. Every component is machined from Grade 23 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) and dimensionally verified against the original prosthetic specifications. We support Tissue Level synOcta (RN & WN), Narrow Neck external octagon, and legacy non-octagonal solid abutment interfaces.

WHY LABS AND CLINICIANS CHOOSE TITAN FOR STRAUMANN COMPATIBLE PARTS:

  • 100% Made in the USA: Every component is precision-turned at our facility in Bergenfield, New Jersey.
  • Direct-from-Manufacturer Pricing: No distributor markup. Order direct and reduce your material overhead.
  • Same-Day Shipping: In-stock components ship the same business day when ordered before 3:00 PM EST.
  • Grade 23 Titanium: Medical-grade Ti-6Al-4V ELI, machined to the referenced system’s original prosthetic specifications.

Straumann Tissue Level synOcta Compatible (RN & WN)

Compatible components for Straumann Tissue Level implants with the internal octagon (synOcta) connection. Titan manufactures abutments, healing abutments, impression copings, analogs, temporary abutments, plastic sleeves, ball abutments, and bar posts for both platforms:

  • Regular Neck (RN) 4.8mm Platform: The most widely placed Tissue Level platform. Impression copings include titanium screw. Solid abutments available in flat-side and Titan Design hexed-collar configurations.
  • Wide Neck (WN) 6.5mm Platform: For molar sites requiring a broader emergence profile. Full component lineup including healing abutments, impression copings, analogs, and ball abutments.

All synOcta compatible components use a 0.050″ hex (1.25mm) screwdriver interface.

Titan Abutment Impression Coping (Dual-Use): Titan’s synOcta Abutment Impression Copings (ITI-48SOIAC for RN 4.8mm, ITI-65SOIAC for WN 6.5mm) serve as both a closed-tray impression transfer and a final abutment. Take the impression using the coping as a transfer, then adjust it in the lab to become the finished abutment — eliminating the need for a separate gold custom abutment and reducing both parts cost and lab time.

Tissue Level Non-Octagonal (Solid Abutment) Compatible

For Straumann Tissue Level implants where the internal octagon is not engaged, or for older non-octagonal implant bodies. Titan manufactures two solid abutment configurations for RN 4.8mm and WN 6.5mm platforms:

  • Standard Flat Side: Traditional flat-side geometry with retention grooves for cement-retained crowns. Watch instructional video →
  • Titan Design Hexed Collar: External hex surface replaces the flat side for enhanced anti-rotation in the crown-to-abutment interface. Watch instructional video →

Solid abutments and Titan Design hexed-collar abutments are for Tissue Level platforms only. They do not engage the internal octagon of synOcta implants.

Straumann Narrow Neck Compatible (3.3mm External Octagon)

Compatible components for the Straumann 3.3mm Narrow Neck Tissue Level implant with external octagon connection. Titan manufactures healing abutments, straight locking abutments, implant analogs, bar posts, plastic sleeves, and ball abutments for this platform.

Titan Implant Locator Pin for Straumann

Our proprietary Implant Locator Pin simplifies component seating on Straumann platforms:

  1. Thread the guide pin into the implant body by hand using the serrated handle.
  2. Slide your straight locking abutment or impression coping over the pin head. The tight tolerance holds the component in parallel alignment.
  3. Remove the locator pin and insert the final titanium screw.

In the laboratory, the locator pin allows wax-ups to slide on and off the analog without shifting, reducing bench time.
