SLIAF or Simple Step for Innova?

For implants placed after 2000 (Ref 01B-), both straight abutments are preppable and include the titanium screw.

Seat it with the Implant Locator Pin

Thread the pin into the implant by hand. It shows the implant position and angle.
Slide the SLIAF or Simple Step down the pin until it seats.
Unscrew the pin and place the abutment screw.

Implant slightly off-angle? With the abutment on the pin, mark the reduction line, prep it outside the mouth and reseat. Add the Locator Pin (M2-ILP-20) on either product page.

How do I tell a before-2000 Innova implant from a later one?

Check the implant reference number on the patient record or label. Ref 01- implants were placed before 2000; Ref 01B- implants after.

Can I still get parts for Innova external hex implants?

Yes. Titan still machines healing abutments, impression copings, analogs, straight abutments and Ball Abutments for the 4.1mm Innova external hex.
