3i TG Hex Abutment Compatible Parts

Titan Implants manufactures TG Hex Abutments and compatible components for Biomet 3i TG Osseotite implants. The TG Hex Abutment is an intermediate transmucosal abutment that seats into the implant and extends through the soft tissue, bringing the restorative platform from bone level to above the gingiva. An external hexagonal collar on the abutment provides indexed anti-rotational engagement for the prosthetic components that attach above it. Functionally comparable to a modern multi-unit abutment, the TG Hex Abutment allows prosthetic frameworks to be fabricated, removed, and reseated without disturbing the tissue interface. All components are machined from Grade 23 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) at our facility in Bergenfield, New Jersey.

Intermediate transmucosal abutments that seat into the TG Osseotite implant and pass through the soft tissue. The machined external hex collar above the gingival margin provides indexed positioning for impression copings, analogs, and castable frameworks. Available for two platforms:

• 4.8mm Platform: For 3i TG Osseotite 3.25mm, 4.0mm, and 5.0mm diameter implants (1.8mm and 2.8mm collar heights).
• 6.5mm Platform: For 3i TG Osseotite 5.0mm and 6.0mm diameter implants (1.8mm collar). The 5.0mm diameter implant was available in both 4.8mm and 6.5mm platform configurations.
