Titan Implants manufactures compatible prosthetic components for Astra Tech OsseoSpeed TX implants at our CNC facility in Bergenfield, New Jersey. Every component is machined from Grade 23 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V ELI)

Older Design (Pre-2008 OsseoSpeed TX, 2mm Thread)

Titan also carries limited components for the older Astra Tech design manufactured prior to 2008, with the 2mm screw thread profile. Available for 3.5mm and 4.0mm diameter implants, including profile abutments and ball abutments.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Astra TX and Astra EV?

Astra Tech OsseoSpeed TX and EV are different implant-to-abutment connection designs. Titan carries components for the TX system. EV compatible impression copings and analogs are listed separately.

How do I identify the Aqua vs Lilac platform?

Astra Tech uses color-coded sizing: Aqua designates the 3.5/4.0mm diameter implants, and Lilac designates the 4.5/5.0mm diameter implants. The color is typically documented in the patient’s surgical record.
