The 3i External Hex compatible 5.0mm platform plastic UCLA waxing sleeve is available in two options: one with no collar height SKU#T-5PS and the other with collar height options 1, 2, 3, and 4mm in a 6mm emergence profile diameter: SKU#T-5PSLIAF
The Titan Implants T-5PSLIAF is a USA-made plastic sleeve straight locking implant abutment designed for use with ZimVie and Biomet 3i external hex implant systems at the 5.0mm seating surface. It features a 6.0mm emergence profile and is available in collar heights of 1, 2, 3, and 4mm to accommodate a range of tissue depths. Designed for cement-retained restorations using conventional crown and bridge techniques.
What it does: The T-5PSLIAF seats on the 5.0mm external hex implant and engages the hex anti-rotation feature for a stable, indexed connection. The plastic sleeve is easily trimmed chairside or in the lab to achieve precise gingival margin adaptation. The result is a customizable abutment platform that supports a cement-retained crown or bridge with an esthetic 6.0mm emergence profile, making it especially well-suited for standard-diameter posterior and premolar sites.

Lab Tip: Before committing to the final abutment position, thread the Titan Implants Locator Pin into the implant analog on the working model. Its straight profile allows easy visual assessment of implant angulation and parallelism across multiple sites — a practical step when designing cement-retained restorations with the T-5PSLIAF on multi-implant cases.
Clinical Tip: In posterior sites with limited access, thread the Implant Locator Pin into the implant first. The T-5PSLIAF slides over the pin head and locks into position, then the pin is swapped for the titanium screw — reducing the difficulty of intraoral seating where visibility is restricted.
Designed for: Dentists and prosthodontists restoring 5.0mm external hex Biomet 3i or ZimVie implants with cement-retained crowns or bridges; dental laboratory technicians fabricating restorations on standard-diameter posterior implants.

Titan Implants’ Implant Locator Pin is a straight threaded pin with a serrated handle designed for several practical uses:
At times, it may be difficult to insert an impression coping or abutment intraorally due to impaired visibility or access. The implant locator is easier to screw into the implant. Once inserted, by hand, the impression coping or abutment will slide over the pin and lock in place because of the snug fit of the head. Then the implant locator pin is removed and replaced by the appropriate screw.
The implant locator pin can be used to check for parallelism and positioning of the implants intraorally. This can be done in the lab too. The implant locator pin can be placed in the analog or fixture. In the lab, the implant locator pin is convenient for custom abutment fabrication. Simply slide the plastic sleeve down the implant locator pin and proceed to wax-up to the appropriate gingival height. The ease of sliding the abutment on and off saves time and simplifies lab work. (This can be actually done in the mouth)
The implant locator pin comes in three different lengths and different threads to match various manufacturers.
