 Titan Implants' Solid Abutment can be used for Straumann® RN & WN Tissue Level implants that have no octagon, just an internal non-engaging circular geometry or if the dentist does not want to engage the internal octagon of the current Straumann® SynOcta®  implant.  Since there are no implant level analogs or impression copings for the circular non-engaging Tissue Level implants, restore the implant by torquing in the solid abutment and taking an abutment impression using the solid abutment transfer cap. Used in both anterior and posterior areas of the mouth for cement-retained crown and bridge restorations

 The Titan solid abutment has ring grooves designed for mechanical restoration. The solid abutment comes in two different shapes. One has a flat side with grooves and the other is called the Titan Design which has a hex instead of a flat, offering better crown retention. Both work well, we recommend the Titan Design solid abutments.
