The 3i External Hex compatible 6.0mm platform plastic UCLA waxing sleeve is available in two options: one with no collar height (SKU#T-6PS) and the other with collar height option of 4mm in a 6mm emergence profile diameter: SKU#T-6PSLIAF
The Titan Implants T-6PSLIAF is a USA-made plastic sleeve straight locking implant abutment designed for use with ZimVie and Biomet 3i external hex implant systems at the 6.0mm seating surface. Available in multiple collar heights to accommodate varying gingival tissue depths, it is used for cement-retained restorations where conventional crown and bridge techniques are desired.
What it does: The T-6PSLIAF seats directly on the 6.0mm external hex implant and locks into the anti-rotation feature, providing a stable, indexed foundation for a cement-retained crown or bridge. The plastic sleeve body can be trimmed and contoured chairside or in the lab, giving the clinician and technician flexibility to customize emergence profile and gingival margin placement. The included titanium screw secures the abutment to the implant.
Key Features:
Lab Tip: Before finalizing the abutment position, use the Titan Implants Locator Pin threaded into the implant analog on the working model. The pin's straight profile makes it easy to visually assess implant angulation and verify parallelism across multiple sites — especially useful when planning multi-unit cement-retained cases with the T-6PSLIAF.
Clinical Tip: When access or visibility is limited intraorally, thread the Implant Locator Pin into the implant first. The T-6PSLIAF slides over the pin and locks into place, then the pin is removed and replaced with the titanium screw — a technique that simplifies seating in posterior or restricted sites.
Designed for: Dentists and prosthodontists restoring 6.0mm external hex Biomet 3i or ZimVie implants with cement-retained crowns or bridges; dental laboratory technicians fabricating restorations on wide-platform posterior implants.
Note: This product uses a 0.050" (1.27mm) Hex Screw Driver, available separately from Titan Implants.
Horizontal grooves assist in height measurements and adjustments while still allowing retrievability.

Titan Implants’ Implant Locator Pin is a straight threaded pin with a serrated handle designed for several practical uses:
At times, it may be difficult to insert an impression coping or abutment intraorally due to impaired visibility or access. The implant locator is easier to screw into the implant. Once inserted, by hand, the impression coping or abutment will slide over the pin and lock in place because of the snug fit of the head. Then the implant locator pin is removed and replaced by the appropriate screw.
The implant locator pin can be used to check for parallelism and positioning of the implants intraorally. This can be done in the lab too. The implant locator pin can be placed in the analog or fixture. In the lab, the implant locator pin is convenient for custom abutment fabrication. Simply slide the plastic sleeve down the implant locator pin and proceed to wax-up to the appropriate gingival height. The ease of sliding the abutment on and off saves time and simplifies lab work. (This can be actually done in the mouth)
The implant locator pin comes in three different lengths and different threads to match various manufacturers.
