Precision-machined in Bergenfield, New Jersey from Ti-6Al-4V ELI (Grade 23) — the extra-low-interstitial titanium alloy specified for demanding medical-implant applications. Titan’s straight locking abutment is a stock, prep-ready definitive abutment for the ZimVie TSV and TSX 4.5 mm internal-hex platform, built for posterior restorations and offered in three emergence-profile diameters and seven selectable collar heights. Match emergence profile and soft-tissue height to the site directly off the shelf — semi-custom results at stock speed and stock cost, without the lab time or expense of a custom-milled abutment.
Compatible with ZimVie TSV (4.7 Ø) and TSX (5.4–6.0 Ø) implants · 4.5 mm platform · internal hex
✓ USA-machined · ✓ Ti-6Al-4V ELI (Grade 23) · ✓ FDA-cleared · ✓ Same-day shipping
Titan matches the OEM straight definitive abutment on emergence profiles for the 4.5 mm platform (4.5 / 5.5 / 6.5 mm). Where it pulls ahead is collar height — a fully selectable dimension here, versus the OEM’s single fixed collar. Seven heights let you seat the margin at the tissue crest without custom milling.

Comparison is against the OEM straight definitive abutment for the 4.5 mm platform.
| Diameter | Best for |
|---|---|
| 4.5 mm | Most versatile. Excellent for premolars and some small molars. Strong esthetics and hygiene. |
| 5.5 mm | Premolars and molars needing moderate width. Balances contour and cleansability. |
| 6.5 mm | Larger molars or wide emergence needs. Supports broad occlusal tables and strong proximal contacts. |
Aim for a smooth, concave-to-straight transition from the implant platform to the crown at the gingival level — avoiding overly convex or abrupt angles that trap plaque or contribute to tissue recession.
This is a conventional definitive abutment for cement- and screw-retained restorations — single or multi-unit. Prepare it directly for the case, or use it as the foundation for a lab-fabricated crown. Available in locking (engaging) only.
A straight threaded pin with a serrated handle that simplifies intraoral seating when visibility or access is limited. Thread the pin into the implant by hand; the impression coping or abutment slides over the head and locks in place from the snug fit, then the pin is removed and replaced by the appropriate screw. The pin also checks parallelism and implant positioning — intraorally or on the model — and speeds custom-abutment fabrication in the lab. With the pin in place, minor angles can be corrected while still using a straight abutment.
For ZimVie TSV and TSX implants, use Titan Implant Locator Pin (1-72-ILP-22). View all locator pins.

At times, it may be difficult to insert an impression coping or abutment intraorally due to impaired visibility or access. The implant locator is easier to screw into the implant. Once inserted, by hand, the impression coping or abutment will slide over the pin and lock in place because of the snug fit of the head. Then the implant locator pin is removed and replaced by the appropriate screw.
The implant locator pin can be used to check for parallelism and positioning of the implants intraorally. This can be done in the lab too. In the lab, the implant locator pin is convenient for custom abutment fabrication. Simply slide the plastic sleeve down the implant locator pin and proceed to wax-up to the appropriate gingival height. The ease of sliding the abutment on and off saves time and simplifies lab work. (This can be actually done in the mouth)
The implant locator pin comes in three different lengths and different threads to match various manufacturers.

For TSX/TSV implants, use Titan Implant Locator Pin(1-72-ILP-22)

With the help of the implant locator pin, minor angles can be corrected while still using straight abutments.
