A one-piece cementable abutment for cement-retained single crowns and bridges on the Innova Endopore internal connection, one-stage 4.8mm, machined to Titan's hexed-collar design. The abutment is torqued directly into the implant — there is no separate fixation screw.

Choosing a prep height

Three prep heights are offered. 4mm for limited interocclusal space or a shallow preparation; 5.5mm for standard cases; 7mm where soft tissue is deep or the crown needs more axial wall. Selecting the height that fits the case reduces chairside reduction and preserves abutment wall thickness.

Transfer system

The implant connection is a non-engaging circular geometry, so there are no implant-level analogs or impression copings for this platform. The case is restored at abutment level: torque in the cementable abutment, then take an impression using the Titan Design single-piece transfer coping. A closed-tray polyether impression is the intended technique. Matching analogs and waxing copings complete the working model.

This is a discontinued implant system. Titan machines components for platforms no longer supported by their original manufacturers. Required tools

• Titan Design 4.8mm COC Abutment Socket Wrench (TN-48SW) — required for seating. Titan Design only; the flat-side wrench will not fit. Sold separately.
• Straumann Torque Wrench Adapter (IS-TWSHA) or Nobel Biocare Torque Wrench Adapter (NB-TWSHA) — if seating with an original manufacturer torque wrench.

Threaded top receptacle

The occlusal surface carries an internally threaded receptacle (M1.4 on the 4.0mm prep height). It accepts the enclosed inserting screw, which carries the abutment to the implant in restricted access, and it is the attachment point for converting the case to a fixed-detachable framework.

Hexed collar or flat side

Titan makes this cementable abutment in two collar geometries. Both are one piece, both seat on the same implant connection, and both carry circumferential ring grooves for cement retention. This SKU is the Titan Design hexed collar, which indexes the crown at six orientations. The flat-side version (ITI-ISA-IP) carries a single milled flat and indexes at one, matching the original manufacturer geometry.

Choose the flat side when matching an existing case or when flat-side lab components are already on hand. Choose the hexed collar when the case calls for multiple seating orientations. Plastic sleeves, provisional copings, transfer copings, and analogs are not interchangeable between the two.
