All-plastic burnout pattern in the form of a straight locking abutment, for laboratories casting a custom straight abutment on the ZimVie / Biomet 3i external hex connection with a 5.0mm seating surface.

Molded entirely from burnout plastic with no metal base. Engaging — the hex indexes over the 3i external hex during wax-up, so the anti-rotational geometry transfers to the finished casting. Suited to single-unit custom abutments. Machined to the referenced system's original prosthetic specifications.

Collar heights 1, 2, 3 and 4mm. 6.0mm emergence profile. Select the collar height to match measured soft-tissue depth. The technician waxes and casts the coronal anatomy, which is useful where soft-tissue depth, emergence angle or occlusal demands make a finished stock abutment unsuitable.

Casting. Supplied as a sacrificial pattern formulated to burn out under a standard investment casting cycle. Follow your investment manufacturer's recommended burnout schedule. The finished restoration is the cast metal — this component does not remain in service.

Grade 23 ELI titanium fixation screw included for bench positioning.

Titan Implant Locator Pin. Seats in place of the fixation screw during positioning, then is removed and replaced with the screw. Also used to check abutment orientation across multiple units. See Titan Implant Locator Pin for the instructional video.
