The Titan Implants T-6IIC is a USA-made implant-level impression coping designed for use with ZimVie and Biomet 3i external hex implant systems at the 6.0mm seating surface. Available open tray (direct transfer) impression technique, it gives the restorative team flexibility to use their preferred clinical workflow.
What it does: The impression coping is placed directly on the implant intraorally and used to capture the precise position and rotational orientation of the 6.0mm external hex in the impression material. Once removed and coupled with the T-6IA implant analog, the lab can pour an accurate working model — the foundation for a well-fitting final restoration.
Key Features:
Clinical Tip: For cases with limited access or reduced visibility, Titan's Implant Locator Pin can be used to seat the coping first. The coping slides over and locks onto the pin head, then the pin is removed and replaced with the appropriate screw — a technique unique to Titan Implants' system.
Designed for: Dentists and prosthodontists restoring wide-diameter 6.0mm external hex Biomet 3i or ZimVie implants.
Note: This product uses a 0.050" (1.27mm) Hex Screw Driver, available separately.
Designed for Accuracy:
Our impression copings and screws have been designed for case of use, better accuracy and enhanced stability in the impression stage. The coping design of two flat sides and significant horizontal groove allow for a strong lock in the impression material. For added stability the clinician may use the horizontal groove to lock numerous implant copings together with the dental floss technique. Another added feature of the coping is a wider base, which will accommodate the Castable Abutment in the laboratory phase. The retaining screw which comes in lengths of 22, 24, and 26mm is what really enhances the ease of use of the impression coping. The knurled head is easy to grip and tighten into the implant. Using the proper length should allow the screw head to clear the impression tray (open tray technique), permitting an uncomplicated removal of the screws and the impression.
