  • Thumb Knob sits on top
  • The screw holds the tap in place inside the adapter
  • First insert the tap into the tap adapter by following the orientation of the square. Match square on the tap with the square inside the adapter. Tighten the screw that comes with the adapter to secure the tap in the adapter. Insert the thumb knob over the tap adapter as a handle to correct the inner diameter (ID) thread.
  • Procedure: Turn the tap adapter 10 minutes, stop, then try again 15 minutes, 20 minutes and operate slowly. Make sure not to break the tap by forcing it in too hard. Keep trying until the tap rolls freely into the implant until smooth threading is accomplished.
