The internal Tri-Lobe (Tri-Channel) connection indexes the abutment against rotation for cement-retained single crowns and bridges. Machined to the referenced system's original prosthetic specifications.

Driver: 0.050″ (1.27mm) hex screwdriver, sold separately. For torquing, use a square-head adapter — NB-TWSHA (Nobel Biocare wrench) or IS-TWSHA (Straumann wrench). Recommended torque wrench: TW35, 35Ncm.

A straight threaded pin with a serrated handle. When visibility or intraoral access is limited, hand-thread the pin into the implant — the coping or abutment slides down over the pin and holds position from the snug fit of the head. Remove the pin and replace it with the titanium screw.

The pin also checks implant parallelism and positioning, intraorally or on the model, and simplifies custom abutment fabrication: slide the plastic sleeve down the pin and wax up to the desired gingival height.
