Titan Implants® 3.8mm engaging (locking) abutment, compatible with Dentsply Friadent Frialit-2 and XiVE implants. Machined from Grade 23 ELI titanium (Ti-6Al-4V ELI, ASTM F136) and supplied with its titanium retaining screw. Designed for cement-retained single-unit crowns and splinted multi-unit restorations where a stock abutment can carry the case without a custom CAD/CAM component.

Key features

• Engaging connection. Indexes to the Friadent internal hex for anti-rotation on single units. This part is offered in the locking (engaging) configuration only.
• Cuff heights 1.0mm to 5.5mm. Select a cuff that places the crown margin at the tissue level you need, without chairside preparation.
• Horizontal grooves on the post assist with height measurement and adjustment, and increase cement retention while keeping the restoration retrievable.
• Flat side machined on the abutment body provides a reference surface for orientation and path of insertion on splinted units.
• Titanium retaining screw included. No separate screw purchase required.

Using the Titan Implant Locator Pin

The Titan Implant Locator Pin (M1.6-ILP-22) is the matching pin for Friadent-compatible Titan abutments. Use it intraorally to check implant parallelism and positioning before abutment selection, or in the lab to slide a plastic sleeve down the pin and wax up to the desired gingival height. Because the abutment slides on and off easily, chairside try-in and lab modification are both faster.
