Product Description

  • Designed specifically for Bicon 4.5mm, 5.0mm, and 6.0mm diameter implants with 3.0mm well
  • Shouldered design creates a clear, defined margin for precise crown preparation and natural emergence profile
  • Ideal for posterior restorations and larger anterior teeth where strong retention and a defined shoulder are required
  • Precision-machined titanium ensures excellent fit and minimal micro-gap on Bicon locking taper connection
  • Multiple profile diameters (e.g., 4.0mm and 5.0mm) and prep heights (e.g., 4.0mm, 5.5mm) available for optimal contouring
  • Proudly manufactured in Bergenfield, New Jersey, USA
  • Fast domestic shipping and excellent support for dental professionals and laboratories nationwide
  • Grooves, chimney thread, and octagon base instead of flat side allow for excellent mechanical retention & anti-rotation.
  • Chimney thread makes it convenient to carry the abutment with the long screw to the implant site rather than using a hemostat.
  • Can be used for screw-retained crown.
  • M1.6 thread for the 4.0mm profile diameter and 1-72 UNF Internal Thread for the 5.0mm profile diameter

Three Prep Heights (4 mm, 5.5 mm, 7 mm)

    • These graduated preparation heights give you precise control over the occlusal clearance and crown height.
      • 4 mm: Ideal for limited interocclusal space or shallow preparations.
      • 5.5 mm: Most commonly used for standard cases.
      • 7 mm: Provides extra height for deep soft tissue or when more retention is needed. This range reduces the need for excessive chairside grinding or adding material, saving time and preserving abutment strength.

 Multiple Collar Heights:

  •                  Different collar (cuff) heights allow the abutment margin to sit at the ideal depth relative to the gingival crest.
  •                   You can match the collar to varying soft tissue thicknesses (thin vs. thick biotype) or implant placement depths.
  •                   Proper collar selection supports healthy biologic width formation, minimizes marginal bone loss, and improves long-term tissue stability.

Multiple Emergence Profiles The stepped design offers several flare diameters (emergence profiles) so the abutment can closely mimic the natural root shape of the tooth being replaced. This creates a smooth, anatomical transition from the implant platform to the crown margin, resulting in

  • More natural-looking restorations
  • Better papilla support and fewer black triangles (especially in the esthetic zone)
  • Improved proximal contacts and easier oral hygiene

 Overall Clinical and Practical Benefits

  • Greater Flexibility Without Custom Abutments — The combination of prep heights, collar heights, and emergence profiles allows stock abutments to handle a wide variety of clinical situations, often eliminating the need for more expensive custom or CAD/CAM abutments.
  • Faster Workflow — Easier selection and less chairside adjustment mean shorter appointments for both the clinician and the lab.
  • Better Esthetics and Tissue Health — Optimized emergence and collar heights promote natural soft tissue contouring, better papilla preservation, and reduced risk of inflammation or recession.
  • Improved Retention and Stability — The stepped design and hex anti-rotation surface enhance crown retention and long-term prosthetic stability.
